It’s high time for a SOUTHERN HOLIDAY. Journey with us toward the land where time moves slower, the front porch is the cathedral, and the pies are as magic as the fireflies of summer. We aged a Pecan Pie Inspired Imperial Stout in a blend of 2 barrels; 35 months in Old Forester 13yr Bourbon Barrels and 26 Months in W.L. Weller 12yr Bourbon Barrels. Then, bless our hearts, we added Texas Hill Country Pecans, Vermont Maple Syrup, and Graham cracker like some city folk aimin’ to prove ourselves. After taking its sweet, sweet time, this Southern Holiday is wafting out the kitchen with indulgent aromas of freshly baked pecan pie, deep caramel, nutty treacle, and chocolate and maple with a hint of flaky pie crust. It’s a darn rich feast of smooth bourbon and milk chocolate with fudge and graham cracker, wonderfully sugary like grandma’s old recipe but strong and pleasant like pappy’s good brown from the den. Come take a thoughtful sip now – it won’t bite!
